A place of worship, learning and community
Established in 1977, Makki Masjid & Education Centre has grown alongside Bolton’s Muslim community, providing a place for worship, Islamic education, guidance and community life.
Makki Masjid &
Education Centre
Makki Masjid & Education Centre is operated by Makki Muslim Society and has served the local community since 1977. For nearly five decades, the Masjid has provided a place for congregational worship, Islamic learning and spiritual development, while supporting families and strengthening community ties.
Our Sunni ethos is rooted in the Qur’an, authentic Hadith and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, with a commitment to faith, good character, service and education.
